One Night Only: Wednesday, May. 5th 5pm-11pm
Free: For CWA Members
$10: For Non-Members

The trajectory of the profession is changing
daily; tough economic times have made creative career choices a must.
Our membership is defining and redefining itself, identifying new
opportunities, and finding their place within the
structure of the new economic landscape. In order to support ourselves
financially....in order to find professional
and personal fulfillment....out of necessity or creative imperative, we as
professionals have begun to do things
other than what has traditionally defined the Architect. This exhibition
is an exploration of personal journeys......
between architecture and Doing Other Things.
The exhibit, features 30 women who have employed their training in the
architectural profession and reinvented
their careers. Using a pre‐formatted 14" x 24" layout, the participants
trace the path to their new opportunities
employing photos and personal stories.
This exhibit is curated by Mindy Viamontes on behalf of Chicago Women in
Architecture. Printing was
generously donated by the IDM‐Group.
