Photo Synthesis features the photographic work of students from four
different high school after school programs: Benito Juarez Community
Academy, Senn High School, Curie Metro High School, Jones College Prep
High School. This exhibition highlights the creative achievements of
the four schools, displaying a variety of digital and traditional
photographs created over the last year. The programs are sponsored by
the Museum of Contemporary Photography and After School Matters and
made possible by the corresponding institutes. These programs provide
the students with the access to create such work with the guidance of
working and practicing artists. Consistent exposure to visiting
artists, galleries, museums, and an abundance of art during the
classes further shape the students' after school experiences.
